All Saints Day

God,
Bless us as we journey in faith, a journey marked with twists and turns.
Bless us with the inspiration and friendship of those who have gone before us, the saints.
May their lives serve as guiding lights, beckoning us through the darkness to safety and rest.
Amen.

All Souls Day

Celebrate the Feast of All Souls with a Special Mass of Remembrance at St. Anne Church at 6:30 PM.

Dear Lord,
Bless those who have gone before us.
We entrust their precious souls to Your merciful care.
Those departed are deeply missed and dearly loved.
Be with them as they journey to eternity.
Amen.

Please join our Pastoral Associate, Erin Colcombe for our next baptism preparation class in Harkins Hall (the basement of St. Anne Church) on Tuesday, November 3 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.

If you have questions or would like to register, please contact Anita Wade at awade@stpaulofthecross.com.

The Saint Paul of the Cross Book Club will be meeting Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 PM in the Choir Room to discuss Stealing the Mystic Lamb by Noah Charney. Anyone is invited to attend!

Veterans Day

O God,
Bless the men and women who have stepped forward in the service of our country.
Protect them in Your mercy, care for their needs:
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Give them courage, strength, perseverance, and support.
Amen.

All ladies are welcome to join us at our next Ladies of Charity meeting on Saturday, November 14 at 12:00 PM in the Convent dining room. We will also be assembling 300 lunch bags for our Red Door Ministry starting at 11:30 AM with our meeting starting immediately afterwards.

We have much to discuss. Come and see how you can support our parish and parishioners. Hope to see many old and new faces there!!

Join the Lunches for the Hungry for their next meeting on Tuesday, November 17 at 5:30 PM in the Convent Dining Room to prepare brown bag lunches for the hungry of downtown Pittsburgh. All are welcome! For questions or to volunteer, contact Mary Ann Raymer at 412-719-7847.

Please also consider making a financial donation to Lunches for the Hungry. With your compassionate support, our volunteers can continue to pack 150 bags monthly to be distributed to the Red Door in Pittsburgh.

We ask for financial donations as this allows us to buy food in bulk. Checks should be made out to St. Paul of the Cross Parish, with "Lunches for the Hungry" in the
memo line. Thank you!

The Journey of Grief group will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, November 23, at 7:00 PM in the DePalma Room.
